All CSI member companies have committed to having their employee health and safety data independently verified by an external entity, beginning with 2008 safety information.

Taking such a step will help build confidence among stakeholders that the CSI is serious about addressing the frequency of fatalities and injuries in the industry, which it recognizes as being excessively high.
