Key Performance Indicators

The CSI has defined the following key performance indicators (KPIs) for companies to report on in the field of fuels and raw materials (as per the Guidelines on the Selection and Use of Fuels and Raw Materials). They are listed below. CSI member companies report on these in their annual sustainability reports.

The CSI's Getting the Numbers Right database (GNR) also features this information, providing averages at global and regional level, as well as for some countries that are large enough for data to be released. The latest available data currently is from 2010 (competition law concerns recommend a one-year time lag in publishing data). The GNR database can be accessed here.
